A new day dawning

So I didn't blog on my birthday--too tired--and I didn't write a poem on that day either. I also didn't do any of the other shenanigans, good and bad, that I did on past birthdays. I worked that day and watched a movie when I got home. A more low key birthday I have never had.

Low-key is good. Low-key keeps me alive.

Clouds fluorescing florescent
In the eastern sky,
Cold snap in dry air.

Promise of a new day,
Dread the day ahead.
It will be
What you say
It will be.

Shut up, stop
And watch the color.

And smile baby!

So I'll watch some movies today, maybe sleep a bit. I lead a boring life.

But boring gets a bad rap...
